How many fake followers do I have?

This is often a guess and it depends on the way you got the followers.

If you target your followers before adding them to your prospects then you can be almost certain that you have just a few fake followers.
I just did a little check on my own twitter account and found just a few fake followers.

On twitter there are always people that don’t follow you back.
That result in a profile where you follow for example 2000 people and only 500 people follow you back.
This means that those people are not really interested on what you have to say on twitter.
So it is time to stop following these people.

How to unfollow the unfollowers

• Login on tweepi using the twitter login
• Go to tweepi.com –> manage Twitter  and then select the option Flush the unfollowers.

After this you see the same kind of page that you would see when adding people.
Accept when you now select the tweepi plugin button the followers get unfollowed.

Keep your twitter account clean

When doing this cleanup your twitter timeline will be a lot cleaner so you don’t miss anything important.

After doing this little cleanup my account has more followers than people that I follow.
This looks like a tidy twitter account and this account is on its way to start making some money.
